TEHRAN – Uzbekistan ranked first in transiting products via Iran in terms of weight, holding 22.2 percent of the transited products, the Secretariat of Government Information Council reported here on Wednesday.

Given 20.5 percent, the United Arab Emirates stood first among the target countries for the products transited through Iran.
The TIR carnet of the current year’s first three months (started March 21) reached 198,500 tons, showing a 24.3 percent decrease when compared to the figure of its preceding year.
The statistics showed that Iran witnessed 3.63 percent and two percent increases in terms of weight and value respectively in transiting products in the season when compared to those of previous year
